So, somebody on Facebook commented on their GPA which got me thinking about mine. I graduated with a 3.874, which falls short of Summa Cum Laude (top honors) by a meager .026 and into Magna Cum Laude. I am quite upset by this, I mean, just 1 letter grade away, which, had I known, I may have been able to do.

I’m positive that I will get over soon enough. For now I comfort myself with the idea that I double majored (as much as this may be no excuse realistically).

As an optimistic human being, I have also decided to let this serve as a reminder for me to work hard during law school which I start in the fall at the University of Minnesota. It is humbling to know I am not perfect, quite far from it actually. Much like Socrates, I realize that the vast amount of knowledge I do not have far outweighs the knowledge I will ever have. I know nothing which is all the more reason to pursue knowledge as a journey and not as an endpoint.
